This is a great leather embossed table top framed in solid wood. I am not sure what it was originally a part of but one end is straight across and the other has a curved style. I am thinking it may have been the top to an end table possibly?
This would be a great restoration piece to repurpose or upcycle! Such style and character!
Piece has surface wear, scratches on wood consistent with age, preowned use and storage. Leather needs some conditioning. Overall the leather is still in good shape without any gouging or wear to the leather tanning. It is gold embossed with a scroll/leafy pattern. The embossing is in good overall condition with very little gold loss.
There is some white cement or glue like substance where the holes for the legs would go.
Measures approximately 17 1/2 inches wide by 27 1/4 inches long.
