Being offered is a Lot of Antique Faux Burr Root Wood Remnant Pieces & Parts.
This was originally the parts to the legs or base to a tray table. This is an art form that is rarely seen and I know someone needs this or wants it for projects......It would be great on photo frames, etc. Wood worms got into the core wood and caused the legs to collapse. These are the remaining pieces. They have been treated for wood worms and there is still dust sifting out of the holes. The finish on the pieces is really dry and dead looking. I have included a photo (last one) of the same pieces that were waxed with a French brown wax and hand polished. Awesome! A spray seal would possible do the same....test it! All of the pieces have holes drilled in them....originally assembled with wood dowels-pegs and can be filled. There are 3 Sections of pieces and their details are noted below.
Left : 14 Pieces. All of these pieces have  both of their stamped brass end caps intact. One piece is splintered and there are several wood balls still intact. Length of pieces =   6 1/8" to 16 1/4"
Center : 8 Pieces. All of these pieces have end caps on one end and the opposite ends are broken. Lengths = 7 7/8" to 14".
Right : 11 Pieces. No end caps. Broken ends. Heavy worm damage to some pieces. Curved. Lengths = 3 1/2" to 18 3/8"
