Circa 1875...about 150 years old
I restore fine antiques, I restored these using gold gilt paint as a finish after buffing the cast iron & cleaning it!
Outstanding detail in the casting
Mounting tips: I will include 2 oval head wood screws restored with matching gold gilt paint finish. Easily installed, I suggest drilling a pilot hole in the wood to make it easier to install the screw. The screws are 3/4” long
I am including the antique card stock that came with these plates, a few have small water stains but they have a perfect antique look in my opinion, it is included as a bonus, of course you can install anything else you choose. I think black ink in a scroll calligraphy style would look fantastic to number or label your drawer!!
The opening to slip in your label is along the long side which would also be the top side
