Vintage Antique Cast Iron Base Stand Steampunk Industrial Table Pedestal
Cast Iron Base Stand Pedestal - Steampunk Industrial Base Stand
Very nice unique & beautifual Cast Iron Stand or Base.
Overall shape is that of a chair or throne. (Could easily be made into unique art or simply a unique steampunk chair.)
Would make a very unique base for a steampunk project or a shorter table.
Solid Cast Iron Stand or Base, but not overly heavy at approx 35 lbs.
The casting has old weathered rusted surface, but there is a lot of the original black paint present.
Overall, It is 24 inches tall.
The Base is oval-shaped
with several holes in the flange-shaped casting. The base is approx 12" x 9-1/2"oval.
The very top flat flange of the casting
is 7-1/4" x 7-1/4". It is essentially a round shape.
The "midway-up" flat flange
is up approx 16-1/2" from the bottom. It has a slight slant backward (kinda like a chair). It is an oval shape of approx 8-5/8" x 6-3/8".
Overall, the front-to-back size is approx 21-1/4 inches.
I will have to "crate" this to ship via UPS or FedEx, essentially making  a wooden box to ship it in to prevent damage during shipment. Shipping weight & size will therefore be more than just this casting.
