Great to put a table top on it . It weighs 210.pounds with plate . So this is not going tip over or move around wile your using it .Base is 21-1/2 x21 extremely stable . I added a 3/8 piece of vintage steel plate for the top . 12x11inches wide . As you can see from the photos there is room to mount a Baldor 1-1/2 hp buffer on top . The 3/8 plate is thick enough to tap threads so you don’t have to drill into the pedestal like the Vice threads that you see . . Also the Vice and buffer are not part of this listing it’s just to show fitment and ideas .this will look great painted and the brass tag polished .The plate is held down with threads that are in the pedestal . Use the plate don’t use the plate that’s all up to you .Also the buffer is going to be listed soon .
