Antique Vintage Sofa - French Country LouisXV Style
Elegant Sofa, 6 foot!
(I recently inherited my mother’s antique sofa and do not need 2 sofas. REDUCED PRICE.  I am not a dealer- just want these to go to a good home!) Matching arm chair is Bergere-style.
Solid wood with basic uniform finish, serpentine back, shaped apron, scrolled arms,solid joinery & craftsmanship.
Very good antique condition being structurally sound & sturdy for normal age appropriate signs of use including few normal rubs & minor dings to the wood. Sofa wood is decorated with shell & floral sculptures.
Shells at center back top and on bottom rim below seat cushions.
Floral motif carved at top of 4 front legs and on back top wood above right and left seats. 6 elegant carbiole legs, no splits. Sofa & chair under-sides have black fabric dust covers, no tears.
Silk upholstery is in very good condition- light cream color with very pale sage& pale peach floral pattern- no stains, tears or frayed areas. 3 sofa zippered cushions of down & duck feathers, 1 cushion on chair. Rarely used in my smoke-free home, pet-free room.
