    Description

    This is an antique Mission style newel post that I believe is made of quarterswn oak. It measures 51 1/2" high x 6" square, it is 7 1/2" square at the very top. The notch on the bottom is 4" x 5" and is 44 1/4" from the top to the top of the post. It has medallions on the top and on one side, two are missing from the side as you can see in the pictures. Overall it is in good condition, there are some nicks, dings, scuffs etc., please enlarge the pictures for a better idea as to condition and consider them as part of the description.  Please e-mail with any questions.
