Antique Hand Carved Oak Wood Angel Cherub Head Furniture Remnant

This is what I believe to be an antique hand carved oak furniture remnant with an angel or cherub head. It is possibly from a chair, hutch or table. There are a number of possibilities.
I believe it dates circa 1900 or so, but please use your judgment.
It measures 7 3/4 inches tall x 2 5/8 inches wide (45 cm x 6.6 cm). It protrudes out 4 1/4 inches at the cherub’s head.
The carving has scattered nicks and chips. There is a chip out of the cherub’s hair and some scattered nicks to the rest of the cherub’s head. There is wear to the finish along all of the edges. Please use the photos as your guide.
The wood is cracked at the bottom, so that piece sticks out a little.
Overall, it has a very good look about it, even with its wear.
It weighs 1 pound 12 1/2 ounces (804 g).
