    Description

    Here is an antique cast iron school chair base made by G.S. Perry.  This base is a bit unusual in that it was made to sit at a slight angle.  If you look at the last 3 photos you can see it the best - is angled so that one side is approx. 1/2" taller than the other, presumably to make the chair more comfortable.
    This base is not adjustable.
    The base is solid, has some rust as you can see in the photos - needs additional work to look its best.
