    Description

Very heavy, sturdy pair of antique cast iron table legs:
circa late 1800s to early 1900s
marked No. 1 and School Furniture Co. of Grand Rapids, Michigan
patent number 598,674 for the clamp/adjustable height mechanism (patent image shown for reference; granted 1898)
height is adjustable from 17 1/2" to perhaps around 24" high
we have not tried to loosen the bolt to extend the length
legs are 13 1/4" across at the bottom
legs are 10" across at the top
holes in base and top flanges to attach your screws through to wood or other surface
each leg weighs about 9 1/2 lbs
We had an idea to create a two-level wheeled coffee table, with these legs between two big wood slabs, but never got around to trying... Enjoy!
