3 Rare Antique Brass Decorative Scrolls Salvage Brass Bed Parts Or Repurpose

Up for auction are 3 very hard to find brass decorative scrolls that were once on an old antique brass and iron bed. If you are restoring one of those beds these could be invaluable to you. Here is my description of the scrolls. Two of them are the same size and one is a bit smaller.
The 2 that are the same are 10.5” in length by about 6” in width. The smaller one measures 9.5” in length by about 6” wide.
Each scroll has all of its end caps. Each scroll has 4 openings for spacers and/or caps and for attachment to frame. The largest opening is .25” in width and goes through to the opposite side. There is a smaller opening which measures about 3/16” wide and goes through to the opposite side. Then the third opening is even smaller at 1/8” and is only open on what I would call the top side. The 4th hole is found on the bottom side of one scroll, looks to be 1/8th of an inch and has an all thread sticking out about .25” long. This where they were apparently attached to the frame. We think these were separated with spacers or spindles as the holes line up. See first picture.

We have been listing lots of brass bed parts that have been packed for 20+ years after closing our antique business. We restored lots of brass and iron beds in the 1970’s so ended up with lots of random pieces.
