Vintage Antique Cast Iron 4" SEWER PIPES Base Stand Steampunk Industrial Age Art Decor
2 pieces of Cast Iron 4" Sewer Pipes - leaded together
Very neat steampunk re-purpose item.
Has raised lettering in the casting of what looks to be "
Wesco
" and on the end "
4
" & "
SV
".
There is a raised "
1-1/2
" by the side tap.
The castings have old weathered rusted surface, but there is a bit of the original black paint present.
The smaller sized end has a 3-13/16" inside diameter and 4-1/4" outside diameter.
The larger bell-shaped end has a 5-1/8" inside diameter and 6-1/8" outside diameter.
These pieces would have another pipe casting fit within the bell shaped end, while the smaller end would fit the bell-shaped end of another cast piece. Oakum would be packed into the joints & lead would be poured then to seal the joint.
Has not been used in years. Has no smell from prior usage. Has been in storage here inside.
There is a tape measure to show the size.
It is approx 22" overall length
. Smaller end is rough cut off.
Weight is approx 23 lbs.
I have 2 other sewer pipe pieces listed separately (they would have to ship separately anyway) that could be used to make some really unique steampunk.
