12 Antique Brass Post Caps Sliders Spacers Salvage Brass & Iron Bed Parts

Description

Up for auction is a salvage Lot consisting of 12 antique brass post caps, sliders, & spindles for old brass and iron bed repair. Their description to the best of my ability is as follows:
Top Row:
6 sliders or spindles
1 matching set of 3 measuring 3”x2” with a .50” opening on each end.
1 matching set of 2 measuring 3.5” x 2” with a .50” opening on each end.
1 single slider measuring 3.25” x 2” with a .50” opening on each end.
Middle Row:
Small post cap measuring 1.75”x1.75” with a 3/8” opening on one end and a 1” opening on the other end. The side opening is .50”.
Next post cap measures 2 3/4”long x 2” wide with 3/8” and 1” end openings. Side opening is .50”. Has small crack & crease. See picture.
Next post cap measures the same as the one above except it is a little shorter at 2 3/8” long. Has crack around middle. See picture.
Bottom Row:
1 large slider measuring 2.5” x 1.75” with each end opening measuring .50”.
Next is a matching set of 2 sliders measuring 1.75” long by 1.50” wide with end openings of .50” each.
Please be aware these are salvage pieces and not the easiest to measure with extreme accuracy. If you have any questions at all please email. Selling these as is.
In the next few weeks we are listing lots of brass bed parts that have been packed for 20+ years after closing our antique business. We restored lots of brass and iron beds in the 1970’s so ended up with lots of random pieces.
